KUKMP Inspects Takjil Dishes in Pondok Indah Mosque

Jakarta Cooperative Small-Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Department held food inspection, especially for takjil (desserts to break the fast) sold by food traders around Pondok Indah Mosque, South Jakarta.
Alhamdulillah, food traders are now be more aware in choosing good ingredients for making dishes
Jakarta KUKMP Department's Controlling and Monitoring Department Head, Ety Syartika took 21 food and beverage samples from 30 food traders on the location and tested it on the laboratory using rapid test method. Those samples are bean curd, cow's trotters, siomay, mackerel tuna, lontong, anchovy, and crackers (kerupuk).
"We don't find any hazardous substance in those food samples. Alhamdulillah, food traders are now be more aware in choosing good ingredients for making dishes," she explained, Saturday (5/11).

hold sudden food inspection routinely to ensure food safety especially for takjil dishes during Ramadan Month."We intensify our monitoring because there is increase of food demand during Ramadan Month. We will ensure food safety in Jakarta," she asserted.
